Hi, I just wanted you to know that we had immediate and positive results with my daughter after we read [I Want to Play] to her. [My daughter] is 5½ and started a new school this January. She expected the same level of intimacy/acceptance and style of interacting as she experienced at the old school. Needless to say, it did not happen. She was rejected and therefore hurt, confused, lonely at recess, lunch, gym, etc. Your book helped provide her with alternative approaches to playing with others. This choice has empowered her and got her thinking about different ways to solve interpersonal problems.
