About the Author Elizabeth Crary, M.S.
Elizabeth Crary, a parent educator for more that 25 years and the
mother of two grown children, is the author of such well-respected
books as Without Spanking or Spoiling: A Practical Approach to Toddler and Preschool Guidance, Love & Limits: Guidance Tools for Creative Parenting,
and Pick Up Your Socks . . . and Other Skills Growing Children Need! She has also created children's books to help
kids of all ages develop social skills and handle their emotions.
She teaches parenting with North Seattle Community College
and independently. She is a frequently requested speaker for
parenting and professional groups across the United States and
Canada. She has a gift for presenting solid, practical information
in an enjoyable way.
A theme running through all her work is "the more ways a
person has to handle a problem, the more likely they will find something
that will work well for all involved" whether that person is a grownup or a child.
This philosophy is evident in her new series "Kids Can Choose."
In these choose-your-own-ending books she offers children a
variety of ways to handle some common childhood frustrations.
