About Linda Carlson

Trained as a journalist, Linda Carlson is no cyber geek, but she relies on the Internet as a source of 24/7 information about a wide variety of topics and people. She considers herself a novice cyber sleuth, and assumes that if she can uncover a little personal information without spending a dime, con artists and determined predators can find much, much more. Another reason for her concern: she has been the victim of e-mail spoofing.

Carlson handles marketing communications for Parenting Press, and contributes to the company's two newsletters. Parenting Education Practitioners (PEP) Talk has run her articles on Internet safety, as has News for Parents. She is also the author of eleven books on business-related topics.
